Moroccan Love Connection
Bübülük Rugs & More is a unique lifestyle and design shop located in Keitum on the island of Sylt. The store, founded by Beauk and Melf, inspired by their extensive travels to Morocco, offers a curated selection of Moroccan rugs, artisanal decor, and other home goods that blend traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary flair. Bübülük aims to bring the vibrant culture and timeless beauty of Moroccan artistry to a northern European audience, establishing itself as a bridge between two distant, yet surprisingly complementary worlds.
Design process
The core of this project was creating an logo that would encapsulate the cultural fusion behind Bübülük. I sought to design a mark that felt both timeless and unique, reflecting the balance between Moroccan heritage and modern, Northern European minimalism.
We selected a warm, earthy color palette that complements the natural tones of the rugs and decor items sold at Bübülük, enhancing the brand’s connection to Moroccan earthiness and artisanal craftsmanship.

This project highlights my ability to create custom, culturally resonant logo designs that go beyond mere aesthetics. By carefully balancing Moroccan and European design elements, I crafted a logo that authentically represents Bübülük’s brand story and product offerings.
