Brand Design

Sweet Dreams Are Made of Cheese
Käseklub Keitum on the island of Sylt is more than just a cheese shop—it’s a community and cultural hub for cheese enthusiasts and foodies. Käseklub wanted a strong brand identity that would reflect its values of quality, locality, and playfulness. Alongside a distinctive logo, Käseklub envisioned a line of unique postcards and a modular packaging design.

Design process
I used a clean, geometric sans-serif typeface for a solid, modern appearance. To add character, I customized the letterforms, especially the "Ä" with its iconic umlaut, which ties the design to German heritage and Käseklub’s roots.
The postcard collection plays a vital role in Käseklub’s brand experience, serving as both a creative expression of the brand and as collectible souvenirs. Each postcard design features unique typographic layouts, humor, and cultural references, creating a set of keepsakes that appeal to Käseklub's diverse audience. The playful typography and use of bold colors ensure that each design stands out while still maintaining a cohesive feel with the Käseklub brand.
To accommodate Käseklub’s range of products, I designed a modular packaging solution that could easily adapt to different jar sizes. The packaging needed to be functional, flexible, and visually consistent, aligning with Käseklub’s clean, modern aesthetic.

Ain't No Sunshine When Cheese Gone
This project demonstrates my expertise in typography and print design, as well as my ability to extend a brand identity across different media. The Käseklub logo and postcard collection work together to capture the essence of Käseklub Sylt, combining modern minimalism with playful, local charm. Through careful attention to typographic detail and a deep understanding of the brand’s values, I was able to create a memorable, impactful identity that engages Käseklub’s community on multiple levels.
